Rob Hall Files for Boone County PVA
1/16/2010
Boone County Property Valuation Administrator Cindy Rich has drawn a Republican primary opponent, Rob Hall of Florence. He has worked in the Campbell County PVA office since 2003. He issued the following press release yesterday after filing the paperwork to run in the May 18 primary:
For Immediate Release
Kenneth Robert Hall has filed today to run for the Office of Boone County Property Valuation Administrator.
Mr. Hall has worked for the Campbell County Property Valuation Administrator since June, 2003. He has received the states highest certification for the office of PVA, Senior Kentucky Assessor, and would improve the office’s professionalism, courteousness, and accessibility to the citizens of Boone County.
- Increase the transparency of the office by making sure all field staff are easily identifiable, and removing unnecessary procedures which prevent the staff from providing the highest level of customer service.
- Increase cooperation with county offices, especially the Clerk and Sheriff, to improve the tax process and the transfer of property.
- Increase training for the PVA Staff, not only in the states training program, but also in advanced customer service training to make for a staff more responsive to the public’s needs.
- Make myself available to answer the questions of concerned taxpayers.
- Increase the efficiency and fairness of the office by leveraging technology to streamline the assessment process as well as instituting a quality assurance process to prevent errors.
- Ensure all tax payers are treated with courtesy and dignity.
The PVA race will be the seventh GOP primary for countywide office on the May 18 ballot in Boone County. The others are Judge-executive, all three County Commissioner seats, County Clerk, and Sheriff.
